Blueprint is a time sheet and project management tool designed for web-based users. This secure tier-I web application takes advantage of multilevel roles for users by allowing employees, managers and client users to view, edit or add hours and project status based on user roles. Blueprint allows workers – developers, engineers, help desk personal and others – to record work progress and clocked hours online. In addition, Blueprint allows your clients to login and view billable hours and work in progress.
Customers may now receive an invoice that they can verify using Blueprint – without the huge paper mess – leaving invoicing details to Blueprint. Employees can verify their pay checks using clocked hours and this time saving software satisfies customers and employee’s verification needs in addition to streamlining your company’s service functions. We use Microsoft Small business Manager accounting software to interact with Blueprint however, Blueprint will interact with any open database and some closed ones. Great Plains, Solomon, Navision and Axapta have been tried and tested with Blueprint. Scalability and number of transactions per day are limited by your hardware and bandwidth resources – I’ve witnessed hundreds of developers and clients using Blueprint all at the same time – without degrading Blueprint or the accounting software.
